My oil paintings are explorations of the often unseen and unacknowledged nature of reality, spirit, and self. I am interested in energetics, quantum mechanics, and the spiritual aspects of our consciousness and physical experience. Working with originally designed microorganisms, symmetrical imagery, and highly saturated, vibrating color, I’m portraying the aspects of our experience that we tend to ignore; the laws that govern our universe and the forces that animate, propel, and guide us. With this work, I intend to reveal the multidimensional, ethereal, and mystical nature of human beings and life experiences, which are typically viewed as taboo and veiled behind the socially accepted constructs of our cultures, lifestyles, and physical reality. It is primarily guided by observations and personal experiences with fundamental forces that guide our lives and existence. My paintings reference a highly intelligent web that is the fabric of all existence, propelling our lives, and providing a structure, which mystics have always known and science is just beginning to acknowledge.
